Maxis Makeover: Capp Veronaville part 1

Consort Thebe, Patrizio Monty and Contessa Capp had dreamed of revitalizing Veronaville but each had their own ideas on how. Consort and Contessa broke their deal with Patrizio when they parted ways and focused on the largely unsettled areas north of the Verona river instead of the southern area which was experiencing a population exodus. The Capps built up the northern area hoping to attract the "right sort" of sims with promises of a refined, artsy, wooded paradise untouched by the cold hands of progress.

One of the few older buildings in the area was a stable. It was converted into an outdoor market and indoor-outdoor music venue. The facility is used during the day by local painters and those hoping to be inspired. Across the street is Contessa's Delight, a bar and restaraunt. Nearby is the high end Verona Boutique.

Titania and Oberon's families lived in the wilds of Veronaville many generations before the southern region became a popular pilgrimage. When the Capps began their development of the north Titania and Oberon were still young. They were offered a home in the area and though their relatives left for the foothills of Verona they remained.

(I moved them to one of the other premade houses because their old one flooded)

Alexandra Teatherton (formerly O'Mackey) thought she'd never want to live in another sleepy town until she drove through Veronaville as a detour from the game of cat and mouse she'd been playing with the SCIA. Something about the place called to her. It didn't hurt that Capp Realty accepted full payment on a house no questions asked.

Its pretty weird but I was never fond of Alexandra O'Mackey. I ended up with half a dozen shots of her and realized she might be pretty fun to play. The angle with SCIA, her nostalgia for pirates of the old days (ships and scurvy) and a little 007 seemed like they could turn her into someone more interesting to play.

With my makeovers lately I have really been delving deep into imagining the premade's psychology. You know...beyond the fact that there's not much going on in those pixel brains.

The town looks beautiful with all of the trees and I love what you have done with Alexandra.
