Pleasantview: Real Estate

While moving around houses and revamping the exteriors I decided to do full makeovers on a few of the premade houses.

95 Woodland Dr.

170 Sim Lane

190 Sim Lane

Pleasantview Trailer Park: The area around Brandi's trailer was kind of lonely so I built a little environmentally friendly trailer park.

210 Wright Way: I may go back in and do a full makeover, I admit I like the way the outside turned out. This place is always a bit of a nightmare. I'm not fond of huge houses.

Words fail me - this is so awesome! The level of detail and care you put into everything you do is just astonishing. So many neat little ideas. I love the trailer park! Looking at your posts is always such a huge inspiration. :D

If you don't mind (this always seems to happen, I'm sorry), one tiny WCIF? The recolour for the ladybug house...?

Thanks! I'm glad you like them :)

The ladybug house recolor comes from Betsy's Little Sim Shoppes:

They all look amazing, but the trailer park is my favorite! I love the bbq area!
Jan. 4th, 2012 06:36 pm (UTC)
Thanks! It wound up fitting into that part of the neighborhood really well.

They all look fantastic - so much detail (so much to copy ...) but I agree that the trailer park i in a league of its own. Isn't that the same kind of trailer Kaylynn lives in? I alreday liked the pictures from her home very much.
Jan. 4th, 2012 06:38 pm (UTC)
:) Copy away. Good eye! Kaylynn lives in the very last one on the right.

I loved them all sidqwick!! Great job you did! They all look so cozy and welcoming :) (I'm like you, I'm not fond of huge houses either)

I notice that you put a greenhouse wall on 170 Sim Lane. The idea is very cool (I did that once) but, I don't know if you experienced a sim living in a house with that kind of walls before..they are affected by seasons, like in winter they wear winter clothes at home and their body temperature drops...for me it is annoing :P

Yeah, the big houses never quite feel cozy unless I clutter the hell out of them. And for me--cozy is more or less equal to being homey.

For 170 Sim Lane I debated with using a window instead but I really liked it with that wall. But I do agree that the clothing change aspect can be quite annoying.

Nice make-overs! And oh, Simlane 109! That's one of my favourite premade houses. x3

That's the house I usually move sims into but this time around I didn't. It was actually the house that made me decide to do these makeovers ;)

Really? Thát's cool. =3

Wow. These are stunning. The trailer park is just adorable and I am in awe of 190 Sim Lane. That half wall is beautiful. May I ask how that was accomplished/where to nab it? (It almost looks like a window, but not, and it could be a cut out, hard to tell because I haven't even glanced at the half walls in ages so at this point I am just going to ask for more details :D)

OMG! I love the hell out of those half walls, they're from tbudgett @ MTS: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=453216

I've been abusing them a lot when I build.

omg at first i thought this was ts3 your pics are so clear, and plus i thought i saw city hall and a hospital similar to ts3 anywho there all great (;
Jan. 4th, 2012 06:52 pm (UTC)
Yup, the city hall and the hospital are neighborhood objects extracted from ts3. Absolutely adore all the conversions from ts3 and other games. I slightly sharpen my screenshots and bump up the vibrance a bit but I have been pretty happy about the image quality. Glad you liked them :)

Aww It look amazing! Especially love what you did with the trailer park, but they are all great.

I *almost* went with various bright colors but I discovered that I had a bunch of green sidings which I think probably turned out better than my original plan. Thus the "ecofriendly" bit ;)

Fantastic makeovers, I am in absolute awe! And I agree with everyone here, the trailer park is super cute. Also love the makeover of the outside of that insanely huge house - I hope we'll get to see the inside some time :)
Jan. 7th, 2012 05:43 pm (UTC)
Thanks! I'm glad you like them :) I'm hoping to get to that big house soon.

So pretty! I especially like the tailor park. You are an amazing decorator.
Jan. 7th, 2012 05:44 pm (UTC)
Glad you like the makeovers! Originally the trailer park was just going to be a makeover of the maxis made one but I'm glad I did something different since everyone seems to really like it :D
Jan. 6th, 2012 11:53 pm (UTC)
They all look great! I especially like the exterior of the last house.

I can't recall the address of that house right now but I want to say that it's 210 Wright Way? I'm glad you liked everything :)
